TJA1054: How much tolerance on supply voltage?

the supply voltage is specified as + 5V, fed via Pin1 :
Which tolerances are allowed?
Will it also work with 12V DC?

Hi,

the input voltage directly supply the CAN transceivers of that module. The supply voltage of the PCAN-TJA1054 must be in a range of 4.75V to 5.25V. 12V DC will definitely burn the module!
