I presume the dual port PCAN PCI-Express card IPEH-004027 will be too high/tall to fit into an Dell Optiplex 790 SFF case.
Is there a short version?
If it could fit then can the dual CAN port PCI express card act as a MITM device with the PC Explorer 5 software on a 500kbps bus?
Can it pass data back and forth if inserted into a working bus while i manipulate packets using the explorer software if necessary?
i.e. CANBUSA <<<<<<>>>>>>> PCAN E PortA <EXPLORER 5> PCAN E PortB <<<<<<<>>>>>> CANBUSA
Thanks

Re: SFF PC case and PCI Express card & MITM Device
Hello,
We do not offer a low profile variant of the PCAN-PCIe interface, but you could potentially use
the PCAN-MiniPCIe and our MiniPCIe to Low-Profile PCIe adaptor:
PCAN-MiniPCIe dual channel (IPEH-003049):
https://www.peak-system.com/PCAN-miniPC ... .html?&L=1
MiniPCIe to LP PCIe Adaptor (IPEH-003029):
https://www.peak-system.com/PCIe-miniPC ... .html?&L=1
As to your second question:
Yes, this can be done.
We have a 1:1 routing example in our PCAN-Explorer 5 macro example package,
which you could modify to manipulate the data as needed.
If you are interested in getting the sample, please contact us with your PE5 license-ID:
