LED issue

Good Morning

Is there any documentation to support the instrument panel add in. There doesn't seem to be anything included in the standard help. I am trying to create a traffic light with LED's but the threshold setting means all the LED's light at once if a value greater than 1 is sent. Is there a way of setting it equal to rather than threshold.

Looks like you did not read the Instrument Panel Online Help named PEInstr_enu.chm
This is available if you press F1 while the User Panel is focused.
Otherwise if the Focus is selected by other Windows, a differnet help file will be opened.

A LED could handle only 2 States, with 2 Colors, with a variable threshold when to switch from State Of to State On.
If you want to use a Traffic light you have some other options:

You use the the Vertival / Horizontal Meter, which allow 3 Sections and could be easy used as Traffic light,
or you use the Bitmaps. Here it is very easy to define many "levels" that switch between different graphics and you could use real Pictures.

As usual the reply is very helpful and I can now access the help file.

If I still have an issue I will e-mail for the samples but I think I now understand as I have used the bitmaps in the PCAN Mini Display, good idea.

If you already have nice bitmaps, this is the easy way.
And you could add more as 3 "levels"
