Change Module number and Target ID

Post by PEAKuser » Mon 5. May 2014, 11:07

Hello,

I'm using the software PCAN MicroMod Configuration Version 2.5.5.61

I have two MicroMod connected to my CAN network, both of them have the same Module No. (0) and Target ID (0x0FC0).

I connect only one MicroMod, I read the its configuration, I go to Configuration Menu --> Board Type... and I change the Module No from 0 to 1. I send this configuration and a warning message appears "The selected module no. isn't the same as the one of the destination module..." and obviously after that the Module No. and the Target ID doesn't change.

How can I change this data?

Thanks.

Hi,

to set the module number on a PCAN-MicroMod, you have to set a solder jumper on the board. Please see manual on page 7 for more details:
