PCAN-USB disappears from device manager, PDIUSB12 gets really hot!

Hello

My peak CAN_USB stopped working.

It worked for two years, but today the PCAN-VIew does not find any Hardware when opened.
My CAN_USB has dissapear from the device manager also . (windows 7)

Red led is ON when I plug it in any USB of my computer but device manager doesn´t detect the unit.

any ideas?

I have opened today the case and when I Plug the CAN_USB to the computer Usb,r a chip labeled as PDIUSB12 Is really really HOT. Could it be the problem? is it possible to replace this part?
