Dear All
I Have Peak CAN-USB and PEak Simulator 2.
I also have 2 diferent 'Can decoder' ... one from Cangine and theother from unknown developer (lets call it JohnDoe)
I Use all that device to check compatibility to SCANIA P360
1. I Try with simulator first :
a. Read Using Cangine , all variables shown
b. Read using 'JohnDoe' ... only small numbers of variable shown ... most variable didn't shown including EngineSpeed
2. Nex, I plug the two decoder to SCANIA P360
a. Read Using Cangine, all variable did not shown .. except it's internal date
b. Read Using 'JohnDoe' .. so many many variable shown.
I it mean that my SCANIA P360 did not comply with J1939 and/or FMS ?
Sincerely

Hello,
do you see data with PCAN-FMS Simulator. In your post you only wrote that you use those other tools, which we don´t know.

I See data when use PCAN-FMS Simulator to send data, and Cangine as reader.M.Maidhof wrote:Hello,

But I don't see data when PCAN-FMS Simulator to send data, and the-unknown as reader.
On the otherhand .. when I plug the-unknown to real SCANIA P-360, I see data.

Hi,
please check that you use a termianated CAN cable (120 Ohms on both ends), when using PCAN-USB and your other device.
