Support for CANopen Configuration in CoDSys via PCI-express

Post by asifdip » Wed 7. Sep 2011, 13:50

Dear all,
I am new in CANopen protocol.I am using PCI-Express card as master node with CodeSys SoftPLC. In my master thesis,I have to control an actuator motor DSP 402 via PCAN-PCi express. But how can i start Configuration of PDO and SDO in codesys via PCI-express card.Even I don't know is my pci card is correctly setup in codesys.
I have two nodes one actuator DSP 402 and another inclinometer position sensor DSP 410.master node as PCI express and also I have two terminators in bus end.is there any way to know that my setup is ok or my bus network is working?how can i go step by step to configure in codesys with PCI express.

Thanks a lot,

Hi,

from the driver (and software) side the PCAN-PCI-Express card and the PCAN-PCI card are 100% identical. Both cards use the same driver "pcan_pci.sys"

Every software that support the PCAN-PCI card (like CoDeSys) also work with the PCAN-PCI-Express card. So there´s no reason why the card should not work. Please contact 3S-Smart Software Solutions GmbH for CodeSys related support.

Gunther
