PCAN Explorer 5 - Can message transmition from trace files

Hi.

I would like to simulate Can bus with messages and times saved in trace file, which means that i want this messages to be sending with times as I traced them also with changing values included in this traced messages. I simply want to restore this trace to analyze it in real time. I had PCAN Usb pro and PCAN Explorer 5.4. Is there any simply way to do it? In the future I would like also read from my old logs and sending over Can bus with organization in file like this

0 0CFF1800 X 8 00 00 78 24 00 00 00 FF 35.048250 R

where organization in trace file is

10) 19.846 2 Rx 0CFF1800 - 8 2F BB 12 67 0A FF 3E 0A

I think there are a lot of similarities including data lenght, time stamp, header and data organization.

Should I write some macros or script or I will need to use for eg. j2534 library? I'm looking for the simplest way using PCAN Explorer.

Hi,

we offer a software called PCAN-Trace, with which you can replay trace files. If you like to write it by your own, you could use our APIs or even a PCAN-Explorer macro, but this will be more or less a complex application.
