Read call blocks, nothing read while using PEAK CAN USB

Post by smacheeri » Wed 19. Oct 2016, 02:30

Hi,
I have installed PEAK CAN USB ADAPTER as a network device. It shows up as can0.

I am using socketCAN to read and write.

While write goes thru succesfully, I also see that on candump, read always blocks and recieves nothing.
what is wrong..I am using RAW SOCKETS.

thanks
shubha

Hi,

do you use the kernel driver or the peak-linux-driver? When using peak-linux-driver, please post output of cat /proc/pcan.

regards

Michael
