Trace File

Hi all,

I just colelcted some data using the Tracer.
In PCAN Explore 5 I was with two window:
1) Message Receive/Transmit with a Symbol file (working fine)
2) Tracer window was recording (below some part of the trace file)

Now I can't neither decode the trace file nor export data from the trace file.
I always get a "No simbol fond"

Con you help me?

Hi,

please load and apply a symbol file or dbc file, to decode or export the trace data.

I already did it.

With the trace window active, I go to "MySymbol.sys" on the project window, do "apply" but still get the error.

The exact error is "No signal found". If I go to the connection property I see the correct sysmbol file. I use that sysmbol file when recording and the send/receive window was working properly.

Hi,

please send trace file and symbol file to our support email address, to check that problem here with your files.
Please also send us the serialnumber of your PE5 licence in your email. It will also be helpfull to get an info which version of PCAN-Explorer 5 your are using at the moment.

BTW: your trace file uses bus 4, sure your connection and symbolfile is also using bus 4?
