I am trying to use the PCAN-USB to read and record J1939 messaging coming from a diesel engine. I have installed PCAN-View to do this, but I keep getting a Busheavy message. Also the engine control panel comes back with a message reading no ECU. Can you give me an idea of what is causing this issue and what I would need to do to fix this? Thank you for your help.

PCAN-USB not reading J1939 stream
Re: PCAN-USB not reading J1939 stream
Hi,
please use a terminated CAN cable with 120 Ohms resistors between CAN-H and CAN-L on both ends, and select 250k baudrate and extended frames in PCAN-View.
regards
Michael
