First message RTR sent is receved as an INVALID MESSAGE

Good morning,

We are working in applications based on CAN interface PIC18 Microchip, bit rate 1MBit/s and standard message,
PCAN-View version 4.0.31.444, device driver version PCAN_USB 4.0.16.15862 (KMDF, WLH, amd64), IPEH-002021. The OS we work with Windows 7 SP1 / 64 bits and Ubuntu 14.04 / 64 bits.

The PCAN is used to develop tests, reading input and output data from our circuit. So, The reception and transmission is normal and works well, besides I send the first RTR message. We can read the status as an INVALID MESSAGE in the reception buffer of or equipment and this error repeat each time that RESET icon in PCAN-View is clicked. The second and all other messages are ok. We tested with different RTR message and both OS we can detect the same problem. We have 3 PCAN_USB and in all three, we noted the same situation. For the microchip side, the datasheet say that this invalid message indicated that an error has occurred in Bus CAN.

Could you help me to solve this problem? Is PCAN-view on windows based on PCAN view socket CAN? Did you have this situation before?

Please check your Code on the PIC again. Our CAN Hardware and the PCAN-View could handle RTR without any problems. Simply test it with your CAN-USB Interfaces and send a RTR on one unit and add a TransmitMessage with the RTR ID on the second unit (manual Triggered - 0ms) - you will see it works well.

I did the test and the PEAK CAN_USB works well. I am waiting from microchip details about Invalid Messages, I am using Microchip's CAN standard library. I am looking for varied tests to solve my problem.
