Re: Command line options
Hi,
PCAN-View does not offer a command line interface, only with PCAN-Explorer it will be possible to control the software by a VBscript, with which you can open and save files.
best regards
Michael

Re: Command line options
Hi,
I am using PCAN Explorer 5.0. I am currently using Standard Macros to send and receive CAN Messages. In order to automate, I would like to send and receive CAN messages and dump to a file using batch files commands or something similiar. Does PCAN Explorer 5.0 support this command line feature? If yes, can you direct me to appropriate support forum or documentation.
Thanks,
KK

Re: Command line options
Hi,
please have a look into the following directory: \Program Files\PCAN-Explorer 5\Samples\VBScript\
There you will find some samples on how to use vbs scripts.
When you open the help system in PCAN-Explorer 5, please have a look at "Automating Tasks in PCAN-Explorer", there are all information available about how to build up own scripts and macros.
regards
Michael
BTW: perhaps this issue fits better into the PCAN-Explorer5 section of our forum.
