.... on Toyota ProAce and no other cars in the workshop.
Hi folks
Just bought the Pcan-USB Pro FD and connected it to the Toyota ProAce (2018), I can see Canbus flow but when I try on other cars such as Mercedes Vito (2015), VW T6 (2016) and VW Touran 2013 it is not possible to see anything on the screen. is that something I'm doing wrong? Have tried playing with different bit rates without luck.
Someone else who has experienced?

Hi,
where did you connect the PCAN-USB-Pro? On the OBD2 connector or direct to the CAN bus line. Please note that on some cars, there is a gateways between OBD2 and the CAN system. Please contact the car manufacturer for more details on how to get the CAN on OBD2 or simply connect directly to the CAN lines.
regards
Michael

Thanks
Yes, I plugged it into the OBD connector and will try to connect directly to the CAN lines. Are there any ways to filter CAN signals on PCAN View or do I need another software? If so, which do you recommend?
I'm totally new to this so it's probably weird questions

Hi,
yes, there is a simple filter option available in the connection dialog of PCAN-View. To be able to use multiple filters, the PCAN-Explorer 6 will be a good choice:
