PLIN-USB Linux drivers?
Hi,
We have successfully verified PCAN-USB adapter that was automatically detected by Ubuntu Linux kernel.
We are eager to use PLIN-USB adapter, but currently there are no available Linux drivers.
Are there any plans/forecast to provide Linux drivers for PLIN-USB adapter?
Thanks in advance!
/Mikhail

Hello, Mr. Maidhof!
Since there is almost 1 year passed, maybe you have started development of Linux drivers for LIN?
It is quite necessary thing

Re: PLIN-USB Linux drivers?
Please consider this a 'real customer request'...
Here at Tesla we do a lot of internal projects involving CAN & LIN, and use oodles of Peak PCAN-USB devices (100's to 1000's must've been sold to Tesla over the years!)
I would dearly love to be able to use PLIN-USB/PCAN-USB Pro FD devices driven from a Linux system.

Ron Kellam
Manager, Test Engineering, Tesla.

Re: PLIN-USB Linux drivers?
Let us know what exact do you need and which Linux driver Type you use. If you use Socket CAN, you need to check the Socket CAN Community if they maybe offer a LIN driver too.
