I noticed that the latest PCAN-USB drivers don't install the very handy Control Panel applet for PCAN Hardware. In case this was done intentionally - any chance that we can have it back? Hiding the device number setting in a tab in PCAN-View seems awkward.

Where is the PEAK control panel applet?
Re: Where is the control panel applet?
Hi Chris,
the Control Panel applet called "CAN Hardware" was never part of the PCAN-USB driver package. This applet is part of the fee required software packages PCAN-Trace, PCAN-Explorer, PCAN-Evaluation, PCAN-Developer and "PCAN Driver Licences Combi".

Re: Where is the control panel applet?
Hi Gunther,
Thank you, that explains it. I have the pro drivers installed on all the other machines and wasn't aware that the applet was a part of them.

Chris

Re: Where is the control panel applet?
Hi Gunter,
I meant the "Peak CAN Driver" that is included in PCAN-Developer. In order to distinguish it from the OEM or basic driver, we call it the "professional" driver but I don't know if that term is "official".
Regards,
Chris
