Hello,
Is there a planned support for Ubuntu 20.04?
I just tried with latest driver v8.10.0 : works perfectly with ubuntu 18.04 in SocketCan mode.
machine freeze on connection with ubuntu 20.04.
I need U20.04 for the newer version of systemd supporting CAN devices.
Thanks for feedback

Add support for ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa ?
Re: Add support for ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa ?
Hi,
yes, we are working on a new release of the peak-linux-driver, however when using SocketCAN, there is no need to install our driver. All PCAN PC hardware modules will be fully supported by the netdev driver included in the kernel 5.x. Simply call sudo make uninstall in the peak-linux-driver-8.xx directory and reboot the system once, so that the kernel netdev drivers will be activated again.
If you need for any reason the peak-linux-driver, please send us an info why, and we could send you the latest beta relaease for a test (by email only).
best regards
Michael

Hello Michael,
With a fresh install of U20.04 without the driver, it's working perfectly in socketcan mode.
Thanks

Hi,
since driver version 8.10.1 and up the peak-linux-driver does also support the kernel version used with Ubuntu 20.04.
See driver history here: http://www.peak-system.com/fileadmin/me ... story.html
