I have found that regardless of rotary channel assignment in MMFD configuration, the encoder inputs are "glued" to inputs 0 and 1 (channel 0). This is consistent across my MMFD-Dig1, MMFD-Dig2, and MMFD-Ana1. That is:
Encoder Channel 0 = unchecked/unassigned
Encoder Channel 1 = checked and assigned to symbol transmitted on CAN
Encoder Channel 2 = unchecked/unassigned
Encoder Channel 3 = unchecked/unassigned
With the above configuration, the rotary encoder will function if attached to the input 0 and 1, contrary to input 2 and 3 as desired.
MicroMod FD - rotary encoder channels issue
Re: MicroMod FD - rotary encoder channels issue
Hello,
I was not able to reproduce the problem unsing the Evalboard, MicroMod FW 2.27 and Editor V 3.0.0.158
Could you please send us your configuration, firmware version and Editor version ?
Regards, Gunnar Bohlen

Re: MicroMod FD - rotary encoder channels issue
I will do that - I didn't update firmware as I didn't see the issue in the revision list. I'll do that first. Thank you for checking.
