I am facing some issues in generating CAN Errors using PCAN FD.I will elaborate what I have tried,

I tried by corrupting the bits in Error Generator Tab.(Using PCAN FD Frame Analyser I got the Bit positions).Whenever I corrupt the data bits in data Region I am getting Stuff error, Whereas in CRC Region I am getting FORM Error as per my understanding I should the CRC Error But I am getting the Form Error. In the meantime I tired corrupting the CRC Delimiter I was expecting FORM Error but I am getting no error frames.



Can anyone help me how to generate All 5 CAN errors using PCAN ?

PCAN Driver and Build Info:
PCAN_USB 4.2.3.16490
(KMDF 1.9, x64, Desktop)
OS: Windows 10

How do I install Error Generator? I had downloaded PCAN-View from here - https://www.peak-system.com/PCAN-View.242.0.html?&L=1, but cant find this tab

I cant find Error Generator under "View"

this option is only available when you use a PCAN-FD PC hardware. Please post a photo of your used PCAN hardware to see which version you use.

this is not a PEAK interface number. Please note that is illegal to use our software drivers and PCAN-View with a non PCAN PC interface! Please post a photo of the used hardware.

This is a legally purchased HW

But no original label - so it is not a PEAK-Part number that you send us. It is a IPEH-002021 PCAN-USB - first Generation, and these do not support the Busload and Error Frame Generation.
This is only possible with the CAN FD Devices (see Michaels post in this thread)
We do not know where you buy this part, but adding such a faulty label, looks not like order from an officially reseller from PEAK.
