Toggle function

Post by Gelby » Thu 12. May 2022, 17:22

Hello, on the MicroMod is it possible to transform a pushbutton (momentary switch) connected to a digital input into a toggle switch and transmit its state via CAN?
In other words, when I press the pushbutton, the state on CAN output message must change and remain in that state even when I release the pushbutton, then when I press again the pushbutton, the state must toggle and remain on that state until the next push and so on, like a toggle function.

Thank you,
regards.

I implemented a toggle using several function blocks in the PCAN-Micromod FD Configuration software. It was for a Micromod FD Digital 2 module. attached is a block diagram of the logic that was implemented. Seems to work ok so far.

Thank you - but this is possible only for the new MicroMod FD Generation, not for the MicroMod Generation 1.
