Hello,
I have two PCAN-USB devices connected on the same PC via DB9 cable with 120-ohm adapters on both ends and
with the following setup:
Firmware: 8.6.1
Driver: 4.3.0
Number of channels: 1
Device ID: F0h
Firmware: 8.6.1
Driver: 4.3.0
Number of channels: 1
Device ID: FFh
I have some problems with the PCAN-view app; when I send a message from the first device can't see any messages received on second.
I'm using two different PACN-View sessions with default settings:
Mode: CAN (SJA 1000)
Clock Freq: 8MHz
Database entry: 500 Kbit/s
Is there any extra PCAN-View configuration I should know?
Thanks in advance.
Nicola

Re: Send and recive a message between two PCAN-USB devices
Hi,
please check your CAN cable again, that both CAN lines are connected correctly 1:1 and a 120 Ohms resistor is included on both ends between CAN-L and CAN-H. Do you see errors in the status bar of PCAN-View?
regards
Michael

Hi Michael,
I checked the connection and the problem was due to a damaged adapter.
