Hello,
I have followed the instructions for powering and connecting to the PCAN-router for flashing the firmware.
I have the yellow leds flashing correctly.
But when I try to detect the router it comes back with a bus error
I am connected to CAN2 with a Peak USB/CAN interface adaptor and a 2x120ohn resistor cable.
The router is currently programmed to operate J1939 with500baud.
Any clues?

Re: Flashing Frimware
You need to check if the Router is in Bootloader Mode (flashing LED´s).
If you get a "Bus Error" then the Bootloader use a differnet Bitrate (if you are 100% sure that wires and termination is in good condition)
As we do not know what you exact change in your Firmware (maybe also Bootloader Bitrate / Detection etc.) it is hard to give any answer.
The Router itself does not know anythink about J1939 - this is a high layer protocoll. Maybe you use a 125K or 250K Bitrate ? (also typical for J1939)
