PCAN-View: Is it possible to use PCAN-View for basic tasks in CANopen?

Just with PeakCAN View + USB Adaptor is it possible to send CANopen messages and check out basic functionality of some CANopen sensors ?

Yes, as CANopen is only a Software Layer on CAN-Layer 2, you could use the PCAN-View to send / receive CANopen Data if you know how to do.
But a CANopen Software Tool makes it more easy. See CANopen Magic from our partner EmSA.

Thanks for responding and giving a full list of CANopen software links. I will go through the same patiently. In the meanwhile I just want to query the CANopen Encoder that I have for the Resolution value stored at

SDO COB ID : 0x662
Command : 0x22
Index : 6502
Sub Index : 00

How to enter this in the Transmit Dialog box ?

That is exact the reason why you need to use CANopen Tools if you are not common with the CANopen Protocols.
If you do not want to use any recommended CANopen Tools, you need to read and fully understand the CANopen Specification - a simply answer could not be given.
