Need Help for monitoring CAN msg via PCAN USB adapter

Post by macchiavalley » Thu 5. Sep 2013, 16:14

Hi, I tried to recieve the msg from TI's F28335 board via PCAN USB adapter pluging to the board's CAN-A port. However, when i open PCAN explorer 5 I saw the error as showned in my attached image file. My questions are
1. what exactly happen in this case? what does error msg mean ?
2. How could I fix it?
I attached the trace file as well.
Any comments are appreciated.

* remove all connections
* Add a new connection (you have to create a NET with the used Baudrate and connect it to your used Hardware)

Please study the Video Tutorials if you are new to the PE5 or read the Online Help for more detailed information

why did you post a screen whith wrong information about the problem :?:
simply check you layer1 physical connection, the termination, the baudrate, the sample point etc. and you will not see any error frames anymore.
