Hi,
in that case you have to sign the pcan kernel module for your Ubuntu 20.04 system. Please use google for more details on how to sign a kernel module.

Please enable the "log error frames" in the trace option, and log the data in a ring buffer, to see what is happening after 20 minutes. Please also provide details about driver version, PCANBasic is only the API, not the driver. ...

can you please send a messages with all data bytes set to 0xFF and 0x00? And also send data to the PCAN-USB with data bytes set to 0x00 and 0xFF?

to check if the problem is linked to the PCAN-USB FD, please connect another PC CAN monitoring device to your CAN Bus system, and check the transmitted CAN frames from the PCAN-USB FD.

Hi, a CAN bus needs at least a second CAN node which will acknowledge the CAN frames on the physical layer of the CAN bus sytem.
