Hi!
We plan to get a PCAN-Router Pro for the following application.
Is it possible to forward all messages from one CAN with 667 kbit/s to another CAN with 1 Mbit/s and a few messages in the other direction?
Thank you,
Joel

Yes, that i spossible. If you only have 2 seperate CAN Neztworks, the smaller PCAN Router or PCAN-Router FD could also be used.

Re: Forward all messages from CAN's with different bit rates
Hello,
The a custom bitrate can be defined in Firmware
on both devices. The approach varies slightly due to
different controllers being used, but the examples
provided give a good idea on how one would
implement his custom bitrate into his application.
We offer a bitrate calculation tool which helps to
find the correct bitrate timing settings for your custom
bitrate:

A more specific sample can be given, if you tell us which device you want to use ultimately.
Best Regards
Marvin

Hello,
Thanks for the Tool, this gives a good idea how it's done.
We will use the PCAN-Router Pro because we need all the four channels.
Best regards
Joel

Re: Forward all messages from CAN's with different bit rates
Thank you for your feedback.
If you use the PPCAN-Editor for your configuration, you will have to use the I/O function "CANx Bitrate Raw" to
set a custom bitrate, not included in the bitrate dropdown (set the "user"-bitrate here, in this example bitrate = 666,667 kbits):
See page 64 of the PCAN-Router Pro User manual regarding this:
