problem with external Power Supply - 1st Generation

If you ever had a very bad looking CAN Scope signal like this,

please check if you have connected a GND to the unit on one of the GND Pins (do not forget to switch the GND on in the Device Settings menue - D-Sub GND connection). You also could use the shield of the SUB-D or the GND socket on the back of the Device.

The power supply with only two pins on the HighVoltage (110-220V) side have no real GND! Only the new power supplies with 3 Pins (Neutral, Phase, Ground) have a real GND.
After you have a GND connection between the PCAN-Diag Device and your CAN Device (CAN-GND), the signal should look like this:
