Hi,
the canapi2 interface is only used by application based on the PCAN-Developer package. Which software do you want to use on your system?

Check Peak Hardware not Possible (Win7)
Re: Check Peak Hardware not Possible (Win7)
Hi,
thanks for replaying.
Well the issue is, that I install the drivers and by plugin in the USB the Computer freezes. It happens with two of my laptos. I have some .exe ready for comunications and I dont know which dlls does it use. But by only installing the drivers in a XP I am able to use this .exe, but not with my Win7.
On the othar I would also like to use the Python examples.
Regards
Benjamin

HI,
please send us an email to our support address with details about used PCAN-USB serialnumbers. Please use the latest setup of our drivers from our support website (PCAN-USB package) for Windows 7. Please also check for newer drivers of your USB chipset, when you use an USB3 port on your PC, see also:

Hi,
looks like your PCAN-USB have a firnware <0.7, these old firmware versions from 2002/2003 will not work with the latest Windows 7 drivers (3.x). A firmwareupdate will be necessary than.
